So much for our winning streak - I guess you could some it up like this -Detroit’s goal with a guyhardly in the crease didn’t count. Dallas’ goal with a player obviously in the crease did count.
It is the kind of situation that is a complete judgment call for the officials. apparently the replay shots were unclear so it was all left to human judgment.
on the bright side - we could say that it takes luck to beat us but on the more murky side of things , which most of us wings fans would rather not visit - we need to make sure not to be in this situation a couple of weeks down the road - the poor Devils did have a good season - after all….
