Pens goalie Marc-Andre Fleury hadn’t allowed more than nine goals in any of the team’s first three playoff series. He has allowed seven through two games against Detroit. All three of Fleury’s playoff shutouts have come at Mellon Arena, so maybe that bodes well tonight for the Pens, who are 8-0 in the postseason at home, where they have won 16 in a row. Fluery hasn’t lost at home since Nov. 21.
So it is one of the two - Fleury has for some reason lost his confidence or He is a secret red wings fan.

I don’t like to gloat, and I guess I shouldn’t because it seems like the penguins have picked themselves up and dust themselves off and this series isn’t going to be a steal. The red wings are going to have to work hard to win on Saterday as Wednesdays game with the 17th consecutive home win for the penguins - that has got to do a lot to the physic of both groups.
Since the game ended 3-2 I’m not completely worried, and at least this is not going to be a boring series!
